Top tips for how to look
after
your new mattress


Looking after your new mattress will mean your mattress will last longer. The most important tips for mattress care are as follows...

1. Always use a mattress protector
By using a mattress protector you will extend the life of your mattress as they act as a defense against sweat, moisture, dead skin, bacteria and spills and leaks
2. Rotate and if possible turn your mattress
Doing this on a monthly basis you are helping even out settlement and slowing down the occurrence of dips in your mattress
3. Air and ventilate your mattress
Once you have rotated your mattress take the opportunity to air your mattress by turning back your bed linen for a few hours
4. Choosing a quality base
Every new mattress does not need a new base! As long as your bed base is structurally sound with no dips in it then it should be suitable for most mattresses. If your base has slats please ask for further advice
